Inspired by the simplicity of French & Scandinavian Design, the collection of handmade lampshades includes hand painted and ribbon wrapped lampshades.

The lampshades are hand wrapped in stripey or plain ribbons finished with hand stitched details and buttons or hand painted with traditional designs in mind using the subtle colour of Farrow & Ball. Also the collection of lampbases and a wall light are made in the UK exclusively for Bay Design. Commissions are welcome, therefore I can offer you a tailormade lampshade to suit your interior from a range of plain contemporary grosgrain or taffeta ribbons to cotton stripes and from little candle clip shades to large standard lampshades! Decorating Tip - Don't be afraid to be unconventional when pairing lampbases, very tall elegant bases can look wonderful with tiny shades on top. Try to pick shades that look good lit as unlit. There are no strict rules - just choose what you like looking at!
